I apologize for the this newsletter being a little late. There has been so much going on in preparation for the October 19th event on Intuit's campus and webinar that every time I got ready to hit send, something else was happening!
This just in: We will have Will Lynes, a product manager on QuickBooks for Mac who has been using Macs since OS6. When he isn't working with customers, designers, and engineers to improve QuickBooks, he enjoys riding his Vespa, cycling, and reading. He is going to speak about the exciting improvements in the Mac version of QuickBooks AND we were able to secure a 3-user copy of QuickBooks for the Mac as a drawing prize!
Don't forget we will have Catherine Fisse from the QuickBooks Enterprise leadership team speaking too - Catherine started at Intuit in 1992 – one of three people working on the first version of QuickBooks for Windows. She began her career writing the first QuickBooks manual, then went on to lead the documentation and then QA departments for QuickBooks. Always interested in improving the product, she became a product manager in 2002. Catherine joined the Enterprise team two years ago and most recently has been intimately involved in the Advanced Inventory feature.
There will be several other Intuit folks at the event too.

You should have received an email from Kathy confirming your registration yesterday to either the webinar or live event. If you did not and you are planning on attending, please let us know so we can make sure we have accurate records.
For Webinar Attendees: When you registered by processing an order through the cart, you would have received the gotowebinar login/call in information. A reminder will be sent the day before and an hour before with that information. For 3 hours of CPE, you will need to be logged in to the event and answer the polling questions on the screen as they are presented. Each person who would like to attend will need to comply with this request. CPE certificates will be available approximately a week after the event. should be on the list individually if you will need CPE.
If you have not received the email from Kathy and you have signed up through our cart, please let us know so she can track down your registration. Your packet of information including the Nuts and Bolts book, is being sent today. On Monday you will receive an email link from Kathy to download the PDF which will contain the agenda. Your registration automatically registers you in the drawing, but you must be online at the time of the drawing to win.

This includes all the details and the map of the Intuit campus. Note that you will need a photo ID to receive your security badge at the receptionist desk and you will not be permitted to "explore" on the campus unescorted by an Intuit employee. There will not be CPE credit provided for this event but will have the added benefit of being on the campus with the Intuit personnel live.
