There are many add-ons available from the Intuit Developer Network, but wading through the choices can be time consuming and overwhelming.
This service includes a telephone discussion with the QuickBooks user to perform a needs analysis. This includes determining what features and/or results are "must have" versus "wish list" items, and industry or business considerations, etc.
Several add-on alternatives will then be presented including the pros and cons and related cost for each.
This is a high level "first pass" so the QuickBooks user can view the demo, use a trial version, talk to other users, etc. for the purpose of evaluating the alternatives for the best fit.
