QuickBooks Connect 2015

QuickBooks Connect for me was a wonderful experience. I was disappointed I could not attend last year due to health reasons, so I was looking forward to attending this year. Since I work from a home office remotely with my employees and clients, these types of events are always energizing. I love catching up in person with so many friends, and making new ones. The sessions are usually very good and I usually enjoy the keynote speakers and meeting with the exhibitors.

This conference exceeded my expectations.I walked away with several realistic, specific, action items that I have already started to implement. I did end up with a notebook full of information to review, I am looking forward to seeing what I can do in the next week before SleeterCon then returning to finish the year strong and have a solid foundation for the start of next year.

As a quick preview, I attended all the key note sessions, worked at the Concierge desk in the Exhibit Hall, participated in the panel for the eCommerce and Retail session, was a first round judge for the Hackathon (where developers create something in the first 30 hours of the event), was one of the "mentors" in the Speed Mentoring session, attended several of the break out sessions, and met many exhibitors and attendees. All in all it was quite fun. Over the next few weeks I will share some of what I learned, but in the meantime, I would love to hear about your experience.
